How good is this HELP? This is a result of a trial that was published by Sharon at Yale. She followed 850 patients. Half were an intervention group and half were usual care. Delirium developed in about 10% of the intervention group and about 15% of the usual care group. There were a lot fewer days of delirium: 100 vs. 160; and fewer episodes: 60 vs. 90.
